Everkind Africa started with a question every Nigerian woman has asked: why are the products we use every month not made with us in mind? The answer became a mission.
Everkind didn't begin in a boardroom. It began in my own body.
Like many women, I used products from the familiar names on every pharmacy shelf, and some of them didn't treat my body kindly. Irritation. Reactions that didn't make sense. The quiet, persistent feeling that something wasn't right, and no clear answer when I asked why. Like so many African women, I assumed it was just me. That my skin was the problem. That this was simply the cost of being a woman.
It wasn't. And the moment I started reading what was actually inside the products closest to my skin, I couldn't stop.
Shelves full of products formulated to somebody else's standards, with little thought for our bodies or our climate. Chlorine bleaching. Synthetic fragrance. Ingredients we were never told were there. Plastic that never leaves the earth. A whole industry comfortable with the assumption that African families would accept whatever was put in front of us.
I am a mother. I've built businesses. I've sat with friends, with sisters, with women I've only just met, and heard the same story in different voices: I just thought it was normal. It is not normal. And it should not be the price of caring for your body, or for your family, in Africa.
"So I decided to build what I couldn't find."
Cotique is our first answer. Two years of research, formulation, and testing went into our opening line of pads, made without chlorine bleaching, without synthetic fragrance, without the hidden additives most brands are never asked to explain. Made for African women, by one who needed them first.
But Everkind was never going to stop at pads. Clean, honest everyday care belongs in every corner of the home, and our roadmap reflects that. Pantyliners follow the pad launch. Sanitary pants, intimate wipes, adult care, bathroom wipes, and compressed towels are in development, rolling out through 2027. Each one built for the people we love, for the everyday rhythms of African life.
I built Everkind on three things I won't compromise on: honesty about what goes into every product we make, kindness toward the person who uses it, and care for the earth it comes from and returns to. These aren't marketing lines. They are the standard I hold myself to, and the standard every home in our Kindred deserves.
We launch Cotique in Nigeria in June 2026. The rest of the Everkind family follows close behind.
I'm glad you're here. Welcome to Everkind.
Oge Nwafor
Founder, Everkind Africa
If it touches your body, you deserve to know exactly what it is. Every Everkind product publishes its full ingredient list, nothing hidden behind vague words like fragrance blend or proprietary formula. You should never need a chemistry degree to shop for your family.
Everkind isn't built for one kind of woman or one kind of household. From the girl navigating her first cycle to the father reaching for a wipe at the sink, our products are for everyone in between. Quality everyday care should never be a privilege.
We formulate without chlorine, synthetic fragrance, or the harsh additives many brands still rely on. We choose materials, packaging, and partners that honour the earth our products come from and return to. Kindness is a standard we apply to the person and the planet.
Every Everkind and Cotique product is tested before it reaches your hand. Every pack carries a QR and Chekkit authentication, so you can verify what you're holding is the real thing, formulated to the standards we promise. No compromises, no fakes, no corner-cutting.
"To raise the standard of everyday care for every African home — with honesty, kindness, and nothing hidden."
— Oge Nwafor, Founder
"I measure success not in units sold, but in the number of African homes that finally have everyday products worthy of them."
